Intakes and deadlines in Georgia

Most of our partner universities take international students twice a year. Here are the intakes of each one and how much time every step needs.

Start about three to four months before the intake you want:

Collect your documents; we arrange the Georgian translation and notary.

After the university passes your file to NCEQE, the Ministry's decision usually comes in about 5 days to 1 month.

The University of Georgia, for example, counts 3–4 weeks for enrollment and up to 4 weeks for the visa; D visas take up to 30 calendar days.

Apply at the Public Service Hall at least 40 days before your visa ends; the decision comes in 10, 20 or 30 days depending on the fee.

When do Georgian universities start?

Most partner universities have a Fall and a Spring intake; European University admits once a year, in the autumn semester.

What is the deadline for Caucasus University?

Caucasus University lists 20 August for the Fall intake and 20 October for the Spring intake.

How early should I apply?

Three to four months before your intake leaves time for recognition, enrollment, the visa and travel.

Can I apply all year round?

At the University of Georgia registration is open all year; other universities follow their intake dates – we tell you the next one.
