Find answers to common questions about applying to study in Georgia.
1Can I study in Georgia?
Yes. Explore programs based on your completed education: a full secondary school diploma opens Bachelor’s and one-cycle programs (for example Medicine), a Bachelor’s degree opens Master’s programs. The university confirms your academic eligibility.
2Which documents should I prepare?
Start with your passport, academic certificates and transcripts. Most universities also ask for a 3×4 photo and an English certificate if you have one. Your university and processing office confirm the exact checklist.
3How does the application work?
You send your documents, take the university interview and English check, and the university submits your file to NCEQE for recognition. After approval you pay the tuition as the university requires and receive your acceptance and invitation letters.
4Where do I submit my visa application?
Students who need a visa apply for the D3 study visa through GeoConsul and the consular or VFS procedure assigned to the country where you live. Citizens of visa-free countries may enter without a visa and apply for a residence permit after arrival.
5What happens after arrival?
Register at the university, settle into your accommodation and apply for your residence permit before your legal stay ends. Our local team helps with airport pickup, registration and every step at the Public Service Hall.
