About these Terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Study and Work Abroad portal at studyandworkabroad.net, its country sites (including Study and Work in Georgia at studyandworkingeorgia.com), the user accounts and dashboards, and every service offered through them (together, the “Platform”). The Platform is operated under the brand Study and Work Abroad by Euro Work Center IE, Tbilisi, Georgia, tax number 306518131 (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account, signing in (including with Google or Telegram), ticking the box “I agree to Terms and Privacy Policy”, posting a listing, booking or paying for a service, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
If you use the Platform on behalf of a company or organization (for example as an employer, landlord, insurer or service provider), you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” includes that organization.
Who can use the Platform
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), you may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use.
- You must give true, accurate, current and complete information and keep it up to date.
- You must not use the Platform if you have been suspended or removed from it before, or if using it would break the law that applies to you.
Your account
One account for all our sites
One account works across the main portal and all country sites. You can register on any of them and sign in on every other one with the same email and password (or the same sign-in method). Changes to your profile, documents, applications and messages apply to the account as a whole.
Sign-in methods
You can sign in with email and password, or with a third-party service such as Google or Telegram where available. When you use a third-party sign-in, that service’s own terms and privacy policy also apply, and we receive only the information described in our Privacy Policy. We never receive your Google or Telegram password.
Account types
You may use the Platform as a student or applicant, job seeker, insured person, or as a provider (for example an apartment owner, employer, insurance provider, or translation, notary or legal service provider). Additional rules for providers are in section 7.
Keeping your account safe
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Do not share your account, sell or transfer it, or let anyone else use it.
- Tell us immediately at info@studyandworkabroad.net if you suspect unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use that results from your failure to keep your login details safe.
What the Platform does – and what it does not do
The Platform is an information, matching and assistance service. It helps you find study programs, prepare applications and documents, understand visa pathways, and connect with independent third parties such as universities, landlords, employers, insurers and document service providers.
Please note:
- We are not a university, an embassy, a consulate or a government authority. Admission decisions are made only by universities and the competent education authorities; visa and residence decisions are made only by the competent state authorities.
- We do not guarantee admission to any university or program, the issue of any visa or residence permit, a job offer, a rental contract, an insurance policy, or any particular result or timeline.
- We are not a law firm and do not give legal, immigration, tax or financial advice unless a service is expressly described as such and is provided by a qualified professional. General information on the Platform does not replace advice from a qualified professional or the official authority.
- Information may change. University, program, fee, visa and other information is based on the universities’ own guides, official sources and providers’ statements and is offered for general guidance. Rules, fees, deadlines and availability can change without notice. You must confirm current information with the university, authority or provider before you rely on it or make any payment.
Your responsibilities
- All information and documents you submit (for example passports, diplomas, transcripts, certificates, proof of funds) must be genuine, complete and lawfully obtained, and must belong to you or be submitted with the owner’s authorization. Submitting forged, altered or misleading documents is strictly prohibited; we may report it to the relevant authorities and close your account.
- You are solely responsible for meeting the requirements, deadlines and conditions of universities, authorities and providers, including visa, residence, immigration, insurance and tax obligations in every country concerned.
- You are responsible for checking every document, translation, application or form before it is submitted on your behalf, and for telling us about any error without delay.
- You are responsible for your own decisions, including choosing a university, program, country, apartment, job, insurer or provider.
Acceptable use
When using the Platform you must not:
- break any law or regulation, or infringe anyone’s rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- post false, misleading, fraudulent, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, hateful or harassing content, or impersonate any person or organization;
- offer or request illegal work, human trafficking, unlicensed recruitment, fake admission or visa services, or any scheme that charges people for promises that cannot lawfully be kept;
- send spam or unsolicited advertising, or contact users for purposes unrelated to the Platform;
- collect, scrape, harvest or copy data or content from the Platform by automated means (bots, crawlers, scripts) without our written permission, except search engines indexing public pages in line with our robots.txt;
- upload viruses or harmful code, probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Platform, bypass security or access controls, or access accounts or data that are not yours;
- interfere with or overload the Platform, or use it in a way that could damage, disable or impair it;
- copy, resell or commercially exploit the Platform or its content, or build a competing service from it.
We may investigate any suspected breach and cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
Listings and providers
Apartment owners, employers, insurance providers, translation, notary and legal service providers and other providers (“Providers”) can publish listings and offers on the Platform free of charge through their dashboards, unless we tell them otherwise in advance.
If you are a Provider, you agree that:
- you hold every licence, permit, registration, insurance and authorization required by law for your activity, and you comply with all applicable laws, including housing, employment, recruitment, insurance, consumer protection, tax and anti-discrimination laws;
- your listings are accurate, complete, up to date and lawful, describe a real and available offer, and do not contain hidden fees or conditions;
- you use the personal data of users you receive through the Platform only to handle their request, in line with data protection law, and never for unrelated marketing;
- you are solely responsible for your offers, your communications and the contracts you enter into with users;
- we may review, edit for format, reject, suspend or remove any listing at our discretion, including for safety or quality reasons, without liability to you.
If you deal with a Provider, you understand that:
- Providers are independent third parties, not our employees, agents or partners. Any rental, employment, insurance or service contract is made directly between you and the Provider; we are not a party to it.
- Unless we expressly say otherwise, we do not verify, endorse or guarantee Providers, their listings, their qualifications or the quality, safety or legality of what they offer.
- You should check a Provider and its offer carefully before signing anything or paying. Never pay deposits or fees outside the Platform to someone you cannot verify. Report suspicious listings to us.
Paid services and payments
- Some services are paid, for example personal consultations, translation, notarization, power of attorney and other document or legal services. The price, currency, what is included and any specific conditions are shown before you pay. By paying you agree to them.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details. Your bank or card issuer may charge extra fees.
- A booked time slot or service is confirmed only after successful payment. A slot may be held for a short time while you complete payment and is released if payment is not completed.
- Cancellation, rescheduling and refund conditions are those shown for the service at the time of booking. Where no specific conditions are shown, you may ask for a refund before we start providing the service; once a service has been fully provided, or a document has been translated, certified or submitted at your request, it cannot be refunded, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Fees charged by universities, authorities, embassies, insurers, landlords and other third parties are set by them, are paid under their own terms and are not refundable by us. University refund rules (for example after a visa refusal) are set by each university.
- We may issue invoices and receipts electronically. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.
- If a payment is charged back or reversed without a valid reason, we may suspend the related service and your account until the matter is resolved.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you submit, such as profile details, documents, messages, listings, photos and reviews (“Your Content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit, display and adapt Your Content only as needed to operate, provide, secure and improve the Platform and the services you request, including sharing it with the universities, authorities or Providers you choose. For public listings and reviews, this licence also lets us display them on the Platform and promote them on our sites and official social channels. The licence ends when Your Content is deleted from the Platform, except for copies we must keep by law or for backup, security and dispute purposes for a limited period.
You confirm that you have all rights needed to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or break these Terms. We may remove any content that we believe breaks these Terms or the law.
Messages, chat and communications
- The Platform may include messages, live chat and links to our accounts on Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, X and other channels. Third-party messaging services are governed by their own terms.
- To protect users and prevent fraud and abuse, we may store messages exchanged on the Platform and review them when needed for support, safety, security or legal reasons.
- By creating an account you agree that we may send you service messages by email or in your account (for example confirmations, password resets, booking and application updates, security notices). You can opt out of newsletters and marketing messages at any time; service messages are part of the Platform and cannot be switched off while your account is active.
Third-party services and links
The Platform uses and links to services we do not control, including Google, Telegram, payment providers, universities, government websites, maps and social networks. We are not responsible for their content, availability, policies or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk and under their terms.
Intellectual property
The Platform and all its content, other than Your Content and Providers’ content, including texts, guides, comparisons, design, layout, graphics, logos, names, icons, images, software and databases, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, database and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose in line with these Terms. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, frame or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent. “Study and Work Abroad”, “Study and Work in Georgia” and our logos may not be used without our written permission.
Availability and changes to the Platform
We work to keep the Platform available and secure, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, timely, error-free or free of viruses. We may change, add, suspend or discontinue any part of the Platform, including features, services, country sites and sign-in methods, at any time. Where reasonably possible we will give notice of material changes that affect paid services you have already bought.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform and all information, content and services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant any outcome from using the Platform, including admission, visa, residence, employment, accommodation or insurance outcomes.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, income, opportunity, academic year, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Platform or these Terms;
- we are not liable for the acts, omissions, decisions, delays, products or services of universities, authorities, embassies, Providers, payment providers or other third parties, including refusals of admission, visas, residence permits or employment;
- our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Platform or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service that gave rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intentional or grossly negligent misconduct, and nothing affects the mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless us and our team, partners and service providers from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or the law, Your Content, any false or forged document you submit, or, if you are a Provider, your listings, offers and dealings with users.
Suspension and termination
- You can stop using the Platform and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to info@studyandworkabroad.net or through your account settings where available. Account deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend, restrict or close your account, or remove any content, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have broken these Terms or the law, provided false information or documents, created a risk for other users or for us, or if we are required to do so by law or by an authority.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 9, 12, 14, 15, 16, 19 and 20) remain in force after your account is closed.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when we add services, countries or features, or when the law changes. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will tell you in advance by email or in your account. By continuing to use the Platform after the new Terms take effect, you accept them. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform and may close your account.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to them or the Platform are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Tbilisi, Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts or requires that its law applies.
Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us at info@studyandworkabroad.net, so that we can try to resolve the matter amicably within 30 days.
General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any specific conditions shown for a paid service form the whole agreement between you and us about the Platform. Where a specific service condition conflicts with these Terms, the specific condition applies to that service.

- No waiver. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we do not give up that right.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them in connection with a reorganization, merger or sale of the Platform, provided your rights under these Terms are not reduced.
- Force majeure. We are not responsible for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, unrest, government actions, changes in visa or immigration rules, power or internet outages, or failures of third-party services.
- Language. These Terms are written in English. Any translation, including automatic browser translation, is for convenience only; the English version prevails.
- Electronic communication. You agree that accepting these Terms electronically and receiving notices electronically has the same effect as a written signature and written notice.
